Abstract

Introduction

It is essential for Long COVID (LC) services to assess and monitor symptoms to provide efficient and effective support to address patients? needs. The C19-YRS tool assesses LC rehabilitation needs and our hospital (NCA, UK) is using the digital application of C19-YRS developed by ELAROS with 17 patient-reported outcome measures, on a 0-10 scale.

Aims

To assess the feasibility of measuring and monitoring LC symptoms within our practice, utilising the C19-YRS ELAROS app

Methods

This is a retrospective analysis of the C19-YRS assessments completed via ELAROS app by patients from NCA LC rehabilitation clinic in 2022. Total 187 assessments were submitted by 50 patients. Scores from their first and final assessments were analysed for individual symptoms? components and compared for monitoring.

Results

78% was females with mean age of 48.8 years. 70% completed final C19-YRS within 26 weeks from the first.

Conclusions

It is feasible to assess and monitor LC symptoms via C19-YRS digital App.

LC services should consider the unmet needs of patients with clinical problems that are least likely to improve or deteriorate.
