The knowledge about causes for lung cancer apart from smoking is not adequately present in the medical community. This session aims to provide more knowledge on:

  • Relevance of environmental radon as inducing factor of lung cancer - interaction with smoking, varying exposure in different regions.
  • Occupational exposures to carcinogens apart from asbestos, avoidance and prophylactic measures, reimbursement.
