Session aims

To illustrate the new approaches being developed to evaluate therapeutic candidates for pulmonary vascular disease, particularly pulmonary embolism (PE), which may be biological (e.g. with the emergence of biotherapies in the field of PE) or the development of European collaborative platforms (such as the development of multidimensional tools to predict the risk of recurrence after the first episode of PE); to focus on the treatment of patients with PE at high risk of mortality; to discuss available evidence in rare situations.
