Overview

The field of interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) is evolving rapidly, with significant advancements in diagnostics, classification, and treatment emerging each year. For clinicians managing these complex and often progressive conditions, staying abreast of the latest evidence is essential yet challenging. This webinar is designed to directly address this educational gap. It will provide a focused and authoritative synthesis of the past year's most impactful clinical research, guideline updates, and paradigm shifts across key ILD areas: idiopathic and progressive pulmonary fibrosis, connective tissue disease-associated ILD, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, sarcoidosis, and rare lung diseases. By consolidating these critical updates into a single, expert-led session, the webinar aims to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge necessary to translate recent evidence into improved, contemporary patient care.

Topics:

  • Newest understandings in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF) for 2025.
  • Key learnings from 2025 on connective tissue disease-associated ILD (CTD-ILD) and hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP).
  • Evolving paradigms in the management and understanding of sarcoidosis.
  • Latest insights into rare lung diseases.

Format

One-hour webinar with presentation and panel discussion including Q&A session.

Learning outcomes

Following this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Summarise the key recent advancements in the pathophysiology and treatment landscape of IPF and PPF.
  • Apply updated diagnostic and management principles for CTD-ILD and HP based on 2025 evidence.
  • Evaluate the shifting paradigms in sarcoidosis assessment and therapy.
  • Identify new diagnostic and therapeutic insights for a range of rare lung diseases.
  • Integrate these annual updates into their clinical practice to optimize patient care strategies.

CME credit

An application for accreditation of this webinar has been made to the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP) for 1 CME credit per 1-hour attendance. If accredited, the CME credit will be granted upon attendance of at least 60 minutes during the live webinar only.

What is a webinar?

A webinar closely simulates a lecture-based teaching experience. The speaker can interact with the audience, just as in a classroom setting. During the webinar, you will be asked to share your opinion on issues related to the topic using interactive polls.

All participants will be able to hear the lecturer and see the slides throughout the presentation. As a participant you will be able to pose questions or discuss ideas with the other participants via the text chat facility and the speaker will respond to the questions via the microphone.
