Aims: Respiratory tract infections are one of the most common diseases in the outpatient setting. Their importance in terms of early diagnosis and treatment have gained an increased importance during COVID-19 pandemic. This session will address clinical algorithms for diagnosis and treatment as well as pharmacoecononomic perspectives from a public health standpoint. The attendees of this session will be knowledgable about the evidence based management of community-acquired respiratory tract infections including the role of early diagnosis and treatment including the economical aspects of enhanced testing strategies.
