to describe the difficulties of performing bronchoscopy in selected life-threatening situations; to describe possible complications and risks for patients and the medical team; to present potential solutions and describe use of particular devices and procedures to minimise the risk of complications and to enable the procedure to obtain diagnostic material or resolve life-threatening problems.
