Session aims
to discuss two new published guidelines, namely, ERS/EACTS/ESTS clinical practice guidelines on adults with spontaneous pneumothorax and ERS/ESICM/ESCMID/ALAT guidelines for the management of severe community-acquired pneumonia (sCAP) ; to present an overview of new evidence in the management of spontaneous pneumothorax and sCAP; to outline the recommendations identified in the guidelines on pneumothorax and sCAP; to provide pragmatic guidance for specialists on how to best manage spontaneous pneumothorax and sCAP.
