Session aims
to discuss different treatment possibilities for pulmonary hypertension (PH) patients with right heart failure, including the use of catecholamines, the impact of mechanical ventilation and the use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation; to describe the risks of pregnancy in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), including the risks in delivery and the postpartum period; to discuss different clinical approaches to pregnancy in PAH patients; to discuss the difficulties in treating elderly PAH patients with multiple comorbidities; to highlight care of end-stage PAH patients and options for palliative care.
