Session aims
to describe new insights from recent clinical trials and meta-analyses about the diagnosis of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB); to address different important aspects such as new diagnostic tools, including cardiovascular parameters and artificial intelligence, and their technical standards and clinical implications; to evaluate the pathophysiological traits of SDB from routine polysomnography or polygraphy signals and their role in the evaluation of SDB severity; to discuss the importance of new biomarkers and the diagnostic approach in patients with excessive daytime sleepiness.
