Session aims
to address disparities and strategies to achieve equity in asthma care globally; to discuss global differences in asthma prevalence, asthma management, access to healthcare and affordability of asthma medications; to define solutions to gaps in asthma care in low-resource settings; to discuss potential social injustice and disparities and strategies to achieve equity in middle- and high-income countries.; to address issues of diagnostics and asthma care in these lower-resourced settings as well as key research priorities that may improve outcomes globally.
