Session aims
to present updates and interesting and challenging cases underscoring the important (and often missed) role that occupational and environmental exposures play in the aetiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common and well-known chronic respiratory diseases. to highlight the influence of early life determinants and diet on the risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), the added value of association studies based on the exposome concept and the impact of diet in adulthood for prevention of asthma and COPD and improvement of lung health.
