to focus on the best practices and latest developments in lung cancer screening;to address topics relevant to an international audience by reviewing current data to highlight success and help remove barriers to increased adoption of efficient lung cancer screening programmes; to facilitate meaningful interaction between clinicians and researchers involved in different aspects of early detection (imaging, biomarkers, quality assurance, research, etc.) and relevant research.
