The use of chest CT scan in the management of difficult-to-treat or severe asthma has to be clarified. In patients with uncontrolled asthma, chest CT can help to identify comorbidities such as bronchiectasis or help the respiratory physician in diagnosing ABPA or EGPA. In patients remaining poorly controlled despite maximal therapy, including targeted treatments, chest CT scans might highlight the presence of mucus plugs and the involvement of the small airway disease (air-trapping).
This webinar will focus on the usefulness of chest CT scan in the management of difficult-to-treat and severe asthma.
This webinar includes 45 minutes of presentations, followed by a 15-minute facilitated question and discussion session.

An application for accreditation of this webinar has been made to the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP) for 1 CME credit per 1-hour attendance. If accredited, the CME credit will be granted upon attendance of at least 60 minutes during the live webinar only.
A webinar closely simulates a lecture-based teaching experience. The speaker can interact with the audience, just as in a classroom setting. During the webinar, you will be asked to share your opinion on issues related to the topic using interactive polls.
