Session aims
To review the recent advances in diagnostic technology, discuss the application of machine learning tools for improved diagnostic accuracy and describe the development of novel applications that are directed towards improved patient participation in personalised care in the context of the ongoing major European Union Horizon 2020 grant “Sleep Revolution” (Grant Agreement no. 965417); to provide a comprehensive understanding of the latest advances in diagnostic tools and technologies for sleep-disordered breathing; to identify the mechanics, advantages and potential limitations of novel diagnostic approaches, enabling them to evaluate and incorporate these tools into their clinical practice or research; to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to translate diagnostic findings into personalised care strategies; to foster a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of ideas and experiences among participants.
