Session aims

To describe the global guidance for pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) and to identify the need and gap particularly in low-to-middle-income countries; to describe the particular challenges, evidence and potential solutions for PR in low-to-middle-income countries including learning about cultural adaptation from high-income countries; to raise awareness of the health inequalities in access to PR globally and processes that can be utilised to reduce them; to describe ways to improve PR training and capacity.
