Session aims
Although there is treatment indication for mild obstructive sleep apnoea in children when there is a clinical concern, currently there is no evidenced-based indication for treating primary snoring. However, both primary snoring and mild obstructive sleep apnoea may be associated with similar adverse consequences in children that may be alleviated by treatment. This mini symposium will review recently published evidence on this subject and discuss the next steps in research. As there are many unanswered questions in paediatrics, the current approach to adults with primary snoring will also be reviewed.
