This educational session will discuss the requirements for a framework for the comprehensive assessment, treatment and follow-up of patients with obstructive sleep apnoea. Due to the heterogeneity of OSA in terms of pathophysiology, comorbidities, symptoms, OSA forms, treatment response and long-term outcomes, a holistic approach and access to different types of sleep studies, a broad spectrum of treatment approaches as well as interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration is needed. What does a sleep centre need for the comprehensive care of patients with OSA?
