Session aims
- To describe the latest evidence supporting the role of the deleterious consequences of sleep fragmentation and nocturnal hypoxaemia promoting circadian clock disruption. - To highlight the effect of sleep fragmentation and nocturnal hypoxaemia on the disruption of circadian blood pressure rhythmicity. - To present the available biometrics of nocturnal hypoxaemia that contribute to improving diagnosis, cardiovascular risk stratification, and response to CPAP treatment.
