Session aims
to discuss how to diagnose pulmonary sarcoidosis using different tools, such as imaging, tissue biopsy and biomarkers, and the pitfalls during the diagnostic trajectory; to increase knowledge of cardiac sarcoidosis, which is a leading cause of mortality in sarcoidosis; to discuss how to recognise common symptoms that are not organ-specific in sarcoidosis and their potential treatment options; to provide updates on the mechanisms of possible new treatment options for sarcoidosis in the near future.
