Session aims
to define the exposome landscape and its possible risks for human respiratory health; to summarise and clarify what is already known about the role of the exposome in the development of chronic lung diseases including interstitial lung diseases and remaining knowledge gaps; to clarify how the exposome plays an important role in the prevention of chronic lung diseases; to outline the possible influence of the exposome on the early onset of chronic lung diseases; to discuss how measures to reduce exposome involvement might be useful to treat paediatric and adult chronic lung diseases; to present some results of the EXPLAIN inter-assembly collaboration project.
