to discuss the most important controversies in the field of ILDs in order to improve future ILD management, for example: i) what is the most suitable therapy for sarcoidosis and is the treatment of fibrosing ILDs following a similar path to that of other diseases, such as pulmonary hypertension with combination therapies?; ii) significant controversy is the latest classification of interstitial pneumonia, which must be critically discussed, also with regard to the practical implementation of this recommendation
