Session aims
to describe the identification of primary pulmonary lymphomas according to the recent World Health Organization classification; to describe the peculiar or disguising clinical/laboratory profile by which primary pulmonary lymphomas may manifest and discuss fundamental pathogenetic aspects; to describe imaging documentation of parenchymal/pleural involvement, taking into account new techniques such as photon-counting computed tomography and nuclear medicine; to present endoscopic and other minimally invasive approaches along with sophisticated laboratory tests that may confirm the diagnosis; to cover differential diagnoses and tricks.
