to provide an update on the effect of bisoprolol on respiratory exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at high risk of exacerbations; to provide an update on the use of high-intensity versus low-intensity positive pressure ventilation for acute exacerbations of COPD; to provide an update on the use of high-flow nasal oxygen versus non-invasive ventilation for acute respiratory failure.
