Session aims
to explore global perspectives on utilising real-world data (RWD) and real-world evidence (RWE) to enhance responsible artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled respiratory innovation; to examine exemplary applications of RWD and RWE for respiratory conditions such as lung cancer, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma, from diagnosis to self-management, in order to understand the similarities and differences of approaches in various regions, which will foster a collaborative environment that promotes ethical, effective and innovative solutions to improve respiratory health; to bring together experts from different regions to share their experiences, methodologies and outcomes in using RWD and RWE for AI-enabled respiratory innovation; to discuss opportunities and challenges in the collection, analysis and deployment of responsible and effective AI integration in different countries; to discuss the similarities and differences in how various regions approach the use of RWD and RWE, and how these differences impact the deployment of AI-enabled respiratory innovation.
