to explain how the exposome approach has provided new perspectives on how the environmental factors, lifestyle habits and exposure to pathogens have a profound impact on respiratory health and how it can provide an integrated and holistic view of human-beings within the world we live in; to understand how the interaction between the environment and our airways can shape our health and immune defences and how to apply the concept of “One Health” in the context of respiratory health; to learn how dynamic host-pathogen interactions drive innate immune activation, especially in early life, which may reveal new strategies to deal with future viral pandemics.; to improve awareness of how to use this knowledge to develop new clinical practices and actions that may change the course of history and, by improving the health of our planet, can improve our respiratory health.
