Session aims
to provide an updated operational classification of lung (and other respiratory) sounds across several physio(patho)logical respiratory conditions; to describe technical aspects and applications of lung sound analysis in clinical practice, including early diagnosis (especially of interstitial lung diseases) and early detection of disease exacerbations/progression; to introduce telemedicine applications of respiratory sound analysis in the clinical management of adult and paediatric pulmonology in low-resource settings
