Session aims
to inform paediatricians and other health professionals about environmental hazards, with a focus on air pollution and climate change and their interplay in the context of global childhood respiratory health; to discuss the social, ethnic and economic inequalities in the global distribution of environmental hazards, enabling the development of context-specific interventions and policies; to discuss whether and how artificial intelligence and data science can provide solutions to predict, monitor and mitigate the impacts of climate change on respiratory health, as well as existing challenges.
