Learning outcomes

Following this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the changes in the 2022 PFT Interpretation statement
  • Describe how PFTs can be used to classify physiological impairments in lung function
  • Understand the evidence that was used to support the updated standard
  • Identify areas for future research

Each of the 4 webinars will cover different aspects of the PFT standards.

  • Session 1: Panel discussion: What's NEW in the 2022 ERS/ATS PFT Interpretation Statement (19 January, 2023)
  • Session 2: Expert interview: Physiological classification of lung function impairment (16 February, 2023)
  • Session 3: Clinical case discussion: How will the 2022 ERS/ATS PFT interpretation statement impact clinical cases? (16 March, 2023)
  • Session 4: Debate: Should we use ethnic-specific reference equations? (20 April, 2023)

CME credits
