Respiratory Impact Conference

Policy to action for respiratory health
25-26 June 2026 | Rotterdam, Netherlands

The Respiratory Impact Conference programme will focus on how to turn policy into practical, equitable impact by working with stakeholders as genuine partners, aligning research and education with policy goals, and strengthening communities of practice and knowledge networks. Across interactive sessions, participants will explore how to optimise synergies, tailor messages for diverse audiences, and embed equity at the heart of research, policy, education and advocacy.

Conference objectives

  • To complete the translational pathway to implementation and population health (T3/T4 gaps)
  • To convert current global policy initiatives into improved respiratory health for populations
  • To promote collaboration between Education, Science and Advocacy, and across Assemblies
  • To align with ERS strategic areas (digital healthcare, prevention, global health, patient partnership)
  • To establish a community of practice to share best practices, feedback and peer review
