Abstract submission for the ERS Cough Conference 2026 is now open.
For its inaugural edition, the Conference theme will be Chronic cough as a disease.
All respiratory professionals with an interest in chronic cough are invited to submit abstracts for this event. Abstracts must focus on cough-related topics, including epidemiology, mechanisms, clinical management, pharmacological development, monitoring, and patient perspectives.
The programme is organised in collaboration with NeuroCough, and we strongly encourage submissions that include NeuroCough-related research.
Abstracts submitted to the ERS Cough Conference 2026 may also be submitted to the ERS Congress 2026 in Barcelona; submissions to the two events are not mutually exclusive.

A limited number of bursaries are available, which provide recipients with a free registration to the Cough Conference and accommodation for the duration of the event. Potential applicants must submit an abstract in order to be considered for a bursary. To be eligible to apply, you must be:

Selection from the pool of applicants will be made by the organising committee based on the submission of a curriculum vitae.
